1.FullControl

 FullControl, menawarkan kebebasan total kepada pemain untuk mengendalikan bola. Entah itu cara halus untuk menerima bola, menggiring dengan berbagai gaya gocekan yang mengecoh lawan, dan berbagai hal lain yang tidak pernah ditemukan pada seri terdahulu.

2.Player ID

Player ID,  difokuskan pada kemampuan individual dan pergerakan para pemain bola. Fitur ini dibagi menjadi 2 bagian yakni Player Individuality dan Individuality to Goalkeepers.

Player Individuality membuat para pemain terbaik di PES 2013 akan bisa langsung dikenali hanya melalui atributnya. Di sini bahkan setiap pemain terbaik akan memiliki gaya khas, misalnya ketika mereka sedang berjalan, menggiring bola, sampai ketika mencetak gol. Sedangkan Individuality to Goalkeepers lebih ke arah gaya gerakan para penjaga gawang.

"Bahkan gaya mereka saat merayakan gol pun bisa berbeda-beda di sepanjang pertandingan," tulis Konami.

3.ProActive AI

Kemudian fitur ketiga yang diandalkan pada PES 2013 adalah, ProActive AI. Fitur ini dibuat untuk meningkatkan respon setiap karakter saat pertandingan. Ada 3 fitur yang ditawatkan seperti Balance of Play, Tactical Precision dan Enhanced Goalkeepers.
